


This 71 y/o male presented with a slowly enlarging mass in the left groin. Selected images from his MRI exam are shown above. A fat containing mass with low signal septae is seen in the left hemiscrotum and coursing along the spermatic cord consistent with a spermatic cord lipoma/liposarcoma. At surgery the mass was noted to be poorly encapsulated and adherent to surrounding structures. The pathlogic concensus on the resected mass, including an opinion from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, was that this represented a low grade liposarcoma of the spermatic cord.
