This 31 y/o female presented with a palpable neck mass. Approximately one month prior to presentation, the area on her neck had become "sore". It was at this time that she noticed the mass. Physical exam revealed a firm mobile nodule in the neck to the right of midline near the superior margin of the thyroid cartilage. A CT scan of the neck was performed. A diagnosis of Thyroglossal Duct Cyst was suggested. This was confirmed by surgical excision of the lesion and pathologic evaluation.
