Landry's Kajun Red

our herd sire, buddy and all-round great horse. He can do anything and adjusts to the handlers ability. He can drive like a champion, or with a child be as calm as a lap dog. It was our luckiest day in horseyworld when we purchased our famous stallion. He is 14 now and lives in a pasture with his girlfriends, and he rides in a custom van on carpet, neighs when we needs us to pull over for him to "use the facilities", and gets insulted if we try to put him in a horse trailer. He can't stand to be kissed and will jerk his head up and bonk you in the nose when you try, but if you have a drink in the cup holder in the car when he is riding, and the windows are down...look out, if you don't pay attention to him, he will grab the cup and throw it out the window. I have had many a passenger lose their drink to his antics. He knows he is not supposed to bother the driver, and he wears a real seat belt custom made for him so he won't go through the windshield if we have a crash. Spoiled??? He only likes carrots for treats, won't eat apples or any other treat from hand. But, let a passenger in the car get some fast food and he will wart them like he wants some....he just can't stand the attention not being on him, he wouldn't eat any of that food if his life depended on it! He has the best disposition of any stallion I have ever known and I hope if you get a mini you will have as much fun with it as we have had with our Kajun. His kids have the same great attitude he does, and if you wear lace up shoes, beware of his children they love to untie shoe laces as you walk with them...... chips off the old block.

"Just look into his eyes and you can see his heart."
