Camp A-While is a small, very high performance kennel, that specializes in show Quality Dogs for hunt and work that are often Champion bred. Also producing obedient pets and protective guard dogs. Each litter is selectively bred for Top Quality conformation and workability!
Camp A-While Catahoulas is an NALC (National Association of Louisiana Catahoulas) certified breeder of the Louisiana Catahoula Blue Leopard Dogs. Sherry Bando still raises her dogs in the most instinctive environment possible....25 minutes down the Tangipahoa River in 5,000 acres of Louisiana Swamps and at her new ranch in Lumberton, MS.
Here the dogs develop their hunting instincts naturally
while given the best in Veterinary care and proper feeding. Puppies are
hand 
raised and learn to hunt at an early age and have the reward of a truely
natural environment.
Our dogs are worked and shown all over the South and
Western United States, including Hawaii and have come away with top honors
in every catagory. If you want a dog that has true hunt and grit in the
field, plus conformation that will place in any ring...

Elvis won 2nd in Top Dog out of 81 perfect score dogs!!!!
Elvis won 2nd in Best of Best!! Both titles at the same show...ever heard of that????

Camp A-While's Bodacious and Necaise Evan (the above bay photo, Bo on right and Necaise Evan on left at Winfield ), and Camp A-While's Elvis and Necaise Cujo tied for 10th place at Winfield.
Camp A-While Fancy Pants (no photo) a Sassafras daughter, Reserve female A Bay and 4th in the 2 dog A bay with Southern Lights Shaka Zulu, a Sassafras grandson born November 28th, 1998.

Elvis qualified for a run off for 3rd in the 2 dog but took a default due to injury. He also qualified to run offs in the high point dog and for the Champion of Champions run, because he scored a perfect score of 30, again had to default because of the injury; but don't worry he is just fine and he's back bayin'.
