Web Bots - Two Major Earthquakes Summer 2009!
I had a chance to talk with
my colleague Cliff of www.halfpasthuman.com
about the major earthquakes that show up in his predictive linguistics work for
the window around December 10-12 for a first major earthquake and then a couple
of days later, perhaps as late at the 15th for a second large quake.
I know, I know, you come
here for the insightful commentary on the financial markets, so what is this
earthquake stuff all about? Well, Cliff's built a rickety time machine -
that works by sampling huge numbers of posts on the internet, and then looking
at the change in language which seems to have pretty good predictive
powers in terms of spotting what's coming.
I wanted to scribble down
(in public, no less), as much as I could because earthquakes are an area of
archetypes that are pretty darned clear in the language-shift work. Not
only did we pick up the Banda Aceh quake five months before-the-fact, but more recently,
earlier this year, we had very good insight into the Chinese earthquake
(7.8-8.1, depending on which source you cite).
And, when I say 'good
insight" I'm not kidding. Just go back at read the posts that we put
up three days
before that event by clicking here.

The 'details' on this kind
of thing are always sketchy; sorry we can't get down to the specific city. At
the moment, however, it looks like at least one of the two quakes will
be inside the band 32 to 36-degrees latitude and that one of the quakes
will be noticed as having 5 pretty distinct/large aftershocks of some
consequence.
Moreover, one of the quakes
(the first?) will be associated with fertile plains where things are grow, while
the second will be associated with "dancing mountains" although not
sure (again, this is a new science) which of these will come first. Seems
Pacific Ring of Fire, in one case, too.
One of the quakes will also
be noted for causing "isolation" to the point that other countries
will be sending aid - and it's possible that the quake with the
isolation could be U.S. centered.
There are several competing
scenarios that seem to fall out of interpretation of modelspace. The main
feature is that first one quake, then the other within a few days later.
There's also something of a hyperdimensional physics relationship. Such
that wherever the first quake is, the second one will happen in antipodal fashion,
but not necessarily antipodal in a strict plain/ball geometry kind of way;
rather it seems to be the kind that advance hyperdimensional physics would lay
out.
If you click over to a short
explanation of Icosahedrons
in geometry, look at the drawing, and picture sticking the round earth
inside of it, it's like the antipodal quake is likely two happen near one of
the vertices nearest antipodal, but it may not be the precise singular
antepod, it could be one of the other nearest it.
Now, some of the
possibilities, just to give you a sense of how it could play out...
Could be something in North America, Hawaii, or
Alaska for #1 (with a lesser chance of the Pacific Northwest) In this
case, the antipode might be India/Pakistan. Less chance: Back to China for
another big one.
Another possibility would be the first quake being
in Indonesia, in which case antipodes of California, (or in the band
Texas over to New Madrid's southern reaches) Mexico, or Ecuador might fit.
Or, it might be something like Chile for one, then
China. Or, it might be China first, then in one of the 'Stans.
Sorry, until we get to
within 3-days, the quakes are still in the 'firming up' in modelspace mode for
now. Sometimes, once we get inside 3-days, things get much firmer, so
please drop by around December 8-9-10, and let's see if the resolution gets
better.

Meantime, we found it
perhaps significant that the US
Government's FEMA folks are waning of a potentially catastrophic earthquake
over a similar kind of range (!). Called the "NMSZ" - for New
Madrid Seismic Zone" the timing, because of proximity to Cliff's work, is
a little worrisome to say the least. Here's the FEMA press release out
Thursday:
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The
Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
today released a report, Impact of Earthquakes on the Central USA, which
presents the findings of a two-year study on the impact of a 7.7 magnitude
earthquake on states in the New Madrid Seismic Zone (NMSZ). The study was
conducted for FEMA by the Mid-America Earthquake (MAE) Center at the University
of Illinois in partnership with the Central United States Earthquake Consortium
(CUSEC), the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
(USACE), and George Washington University's Institute for Crisis, Disaster and
Risk Management.
The study, the first of its
kind to be conducted on such a large scale, is part of FEMA's NMSZ Catastrophic
Earthquake Disaster Response Planning Initiative. It is primarily intended to
provide scientific data upon which to base response and recovery planning for the
devastating earthquakes that have long been predicted for the New Madrid
region, which includes areas of Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky,
Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee. The study is available for download at www.mae.ce.uiuc.edu, click on the
second small screen on the left or wait for and click on the headline "New
Comprehensive Report on Earthquakes in the Central USA."
According to the study,
areas within the NMSZ would experience widespread and catastrophic physical
damage, negative social impacts, and economic losses. Three different
earthquake events were considered, one for each segment of the New Madrid Fault
- northeast, central and southwest. For example, an earthquake event that occurs
in the southwestern part of the seismic zone would cause significant damage in
northeast Arkansas, northwest Mississippi, western Tennessee and portions of
western Kentucky, and is likely to cause damage to the greatest number of homes
and affect the largest number of people. The study notes that the total
economic impact of a series of NMSZ earthquakes is likely to constitute the
highest economic losses due to a natural disaster in the United States.
The report provides
state-specific information, including damage levels specific to building and
occupancy type; essential facilities; highway bridges; electric power, potable
water, waste water and communications facilities; and pipeline damage where
appropriate. It also identifies the counties that could be expected to sustain
the most damage in each state and provides information on potential
interruptions of utility services and impacts on essential facilities, such as
hospitals, schools, emergency operations centers, and police and fire stations.
The assessments provided in
the study have been used to facilitate earthquake response operations planning
sessions in 30 FEMA-supported workshops, conducted with the 747 counties and
the eight states in the NMSZ. The workshops were designed to support the development
of integrated state and local plans for response and recovery operations
following a catastrophic earthquake. Participants included more than 3,800
representatives of federal, state, tribal, local and county emergency
management and responder organizations, as well as the private sector.
We find it quite curious
that while the linguistics have been pointing at the Dec 10-12 window for
almost a year, that FEMA's issuing impact studies.
Oh yeah: Two other items.
Double-check your food/water plans so that you have at least a month of
supplies. Apparently, wherever at least one of these things pops, there
will be foreign aid - and even hints in the data that the area where the
isolation is greatest seems to be inside the USA and that we (the US) will be
receiving offers of aid from other countries.
The other thing to do is to
read up on the so-called "Triangle of Life" debate. Click over to the
"American Rescue Team International" web site and you can find out
more about it. A
little history of ARTI here - seeing as it was formed by Doug Copp in the
aftermath of the
Mexico City quake in 1985.
Since, linguistically
anyway, something that big (or damaging) is in the cards for next month, a
little review seems in order.
Not everyone agrees with the
"triangle of life" including apparently the USGS which asserts on its
site that:
Which side do I take in
this? Well, after about 5-minutes with some 2-by 4's in the shop, I'm a
triangles guy. Four-sided 'boxes' were not as stable as a triangle
when you throw a lot of weight on top of them. My opinion, so don't send
me 8-gazillion emails on this, please!

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Reuters) - People in a vast seismic zone in the southern
and midwestern United States would face catastrophic damage if a major
earthquake struck there and should ensure that builders keep that risk in mind,
a government report said on Thursday.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency said if earthquakes strike in what
geologists define as the New Madrid Seismic Zone (NMSZ), they would cause
"the highest economic losses due to a natural disaster in the United
States."
FEMA predicted a large earthquake would cause "widespread and catastrophic
physical damage" across Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky,
Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee -- home to some 44 million people.
Tennessee
is likely to be hardest hit, according to the study that sought to gauge the
impact of a 7.7 magnitude earthquake in order to guide the government's
response.
In Tennessee alone, it forecast hundreds of collapsed bridges, tens of
thousands of severely damaged buildings and a half a million households without
water.
Transportation systems and hospitals would be wrecked, and police and fire
departments impaired, the study said.
The zone, named for the town of New Madrid in Missouri's southeast corner, is
subject to frequent mild earthquakes.
Experts
have long tried to predict the likelihood of a major quake like those that
struck in 1811 and 1812. These shifted the course of the Mississippi River and
rang church bells on the East Coast but caused few deaths amid a sparse
population.
"People who live in these areas and the people who build in these areas
certainly need to take into better account that at some time there is ...
expected to be a catastrophic earthquake in that area, and they'd better be
prepared for it," said FEMA spokesperson Mary Margaret Walker.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE REPORT:
The region of potential impact due to earthquake activity in the New Madrid
Seismic Zone (NMSZ) is comprised of eight states: Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois,
Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee. Moreover, the Wabash
Valley Seismic Zone (WVSZ) in southern Illinois and southeast Indiana and the
East Tennessee Seismic Zone in eastern Tennessee and northeastern Alabama
constitute significant risk of moderate-to-severe earthquakes throughout the
central region of the USA.
- Tennessee
incurs the highest level of damage and social impacts. Over 250,000
buildings are moderately or more severely damaged, over 260,000 people are
displaced and well over 60,000 casualties (injuries and fatalities) are
expected. Total direct economic losses surpass $56 billion.
- Missouri also
incurs substantial damage and loss, though estimates are less than those
in Tennessee. Well over 80,000 buildings are damaged leaving more than
120,000 people displaced and causing over 15,000 casualties. Total direct
economic losses in Missouri reach nearly $40 billion.
- Kentucky and Illinois
also incur significant losses with total direct economic losses reaching
approximately $45 and $35 billion, respectively.
- Arkansas
incurs nearly $19 billion in direct economic loss while the Mississippi
incurs $9.5 billion in direct economic losses.
- Indiana and Alabama
experience limited damage and loss from NMSZ events with approximately
$1.5 and $1.0 billion, respectively.
Economic
loss due to business interruption and loss of market share, besides other
factors, is at least as high if not much higher than the direct economic
losses. The total economic impact of a series of NMSZ earthquakes is likely
to constitute by far the highest economic loss due to a natural disaster in the
USA.

Sunday, April 27, 2008 - Vision
As I was approaching the Daphne Civic Center for Sunday morning service at
Church, I had a vision which lasted for about two or three seconds. In this
vision, I saw the ground buckling before me. It was so real that I actually
moved aside to avoid what I was seeing. I knew immediately that it was an
earthquake, and the thought crossed my mind that the damages of this earthquake
could have the potential to exceed those of Hurricane Katrina of 2005.
WIND and WATER
May
20, 2008
I awoke trembling at 5:00 in the morning after having a startling dream. This
was one of the three most profound dreams that I have ever had during the
ministry the LORD has called me to. I feel that this dream is an addendum to
the vision I had on April 27, 2008.
I saw the words wind and water. I only saw the words but did not actually see
any wind or water damage. I then found myself overlooking a river which
instantly became so wide that I could no longer see either of its banks. The
dream then shifted, and I was with one of my parishioners running through what
appeared to be an old abandoned school house. This empty building began to
shake. The shaking was so violent and severe that it was like the bucking of a
wild horse tossing us around. My teeth were clapping so hard from the impact
that I tried to clinch them to prevent this from happening.
In this dream I knew I was experiencing a massive earthquake. The sounds were
so catastrophic that the thought crossed my mind that the devastation could
likely exceed Hurricane Katrina of 2005. I did not see the devastation behind me,
I only heard it. In all of my life I have never heard such catastrophic sounds.
These were the scariest sounds I have ever heard. The dream then shifted once
more and concluded with two names on what appeared to be an old Spanish map.
One name read Indianola and the other Europa.
I researched the internet and contacted some close friends in the ministry and
reliable intercessors concerning this dream. What we found was startling. There
are towns called Indianola, IL, Europa, MO, and Indianola, MS. These towns run
in a line from North to South with Europa, MO being near the middle of them.
The Mississippi River runs between them with Europa, MO being by the epicenter
of the New Madrid fault. After seeing this, I believe the dream could be
concerning a devastating earthquake on the New Madrid fault.
God gave me this as warning to prepare us for the days ahead and to pray
concerning this matter. I did not see any time frame as to when this may
happen.

...U. S. INVADED: Shortly after the second
earthquake the United States will be attacked by invading forces. Russia will
invade the East coast and China the West coast. The invasion will include
missile attacks. She was shown that the invasion would occur when people were
eating and drinking which Gail believes to be Thanksgiving, but possibly
Christmas. There will be nuclear attacks on both coasts, Las Vegas, and perhaps in
Utah. [Note: This is supposed
to take place following an October - Wall Street economic COLLAPSE, which will
be followed by a long-lasting quake 10 days later, and a MAJOR quake that will
break many dams 15 days following the first quake. She saw the invasion-taking
place near or shortly after the second quake. 3 1/2 years after the
first two quakes, two more MEGA-QUAKES will hit that will shake the entire
planet and will kill millions and literally cause whole mountain ranges to rise
and fall].
...Many, including Isaiah and Gayle, have been shown
the invasion of the US by Russia on the east coast and China on the west coast.
Isaiah says that the invading forces, after accomplishing great destruction
will be stopped by divine intervention and themselves destroyed &/or driven
back. One man was told that the invasion would occur after the US ships troops
to Korea. [Note: Gail has also stated that she has had dreams/visions of what
may be destined to be the greatest military ground battle in the history of the
world, which will take place in the Nevada desert between Eastern and Western
military forces].

Nice quiet Friday, so let's
focus on the big picture/important stuff here: You will remember that back in
March, when there was a flurry of news coverage about oceans rising
that came out of a Scandinavian conference, that this would set an
approximately 90-day timeline before we got to the 'main events' of Global
Coastal Event coming into view.
Well, sure 'nuf right on schedule
we're reading how "Scientists:
Global warming has already changed oceans" What's more, senator
Maria Cantwell of Washington issued a news release this week enumerating the
whole litany of ocean/global coastal event impacts. Here's her press
release - normally not something I'd post, except that it shows very much the
meeting the linguistic expectations. I've highlighted some of the
archetype grabbers that were in the linguistics in case you're still asleep, it
being Friday and all:

Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries and the Coast Guard hearing at the Seattle
Aquarium along with Congressman Jay Inslee (D-WA-01) on the Effects of Climate
Change on Marine and Coastal Ecosystems in Washington. During the hearing,
Cantwell, Chair of the Subcommittee, received testimony from national and
regional experts on the affects of climate change on the health of Puget Sound
and oceans, and the impact rising sea levels
could have on Washington state communities.
In addition, the hearing
examined how ocean acidification is
impacting Puget Sound, Washington's other waterways, the world’s oceans at
large, and vulnerable species of marine
life. Cantwell has long been concerned about the effects of climate change on ocean health and marine life
especially in the Puget Sound and has been working to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide through increased use of
alternative sources of energy.
“We can no longer ignore the
impact carbon dioxide is having on our oceans,” said Cantwell during the
hearing. “We are already seeing the impacts of rising
carbon dioxide levels and climate change
in the Pacific Northwest and off our coasts. When it comes to ocean acidification, we risk not just damaging the ocean’s ecosystem we are threatening its very foundation. When we combine the impact of
ocean acidification with the additional
climate change effects of increasing ocean temperatures,
changing winds and currents, and rising sea levels, the impacts our carbon emissions will have on marine
environments like the Puget Sound will be far too devastating
to ignore.”
As seawater becomes more
acidic, it may begin to withhold the basic
chemical building blocks needed by many marine organisms. In regions
like Washington, scientists predict that a more acidic ocean could dissolve the
shells of the tiny organisms that make up the base of the ocean’s food chain. Warmer, more acidic oceans can destroy important fisheries and food chains in
the Pacific Ocean, impacting Pacific Northwest icons like Pacific Salmon.
Reduced Salmon runs would harm Puget Sound's endangered Southern Resident Orca
populations that depend on the salmon as a major source
of food.
In addition to damaging the
environment, climate change also has the potential to significantly impact our
communities and economy. Scientists have determined that the Southern Puget
Sound is particularly vulnerable to sea level rise, threatening cities like
Tacoma and Olympia. For example, 80 percent of Washington's GDP is generated in
the state’s coastal areas. As sea levels rise
from climate change, however, many of these areas could end up underwater. By 2050,
scientists project that some parts of the Puget Sound could experience as much
as a two-foot rise in sea
levels. (Enough highlighting - but you see how the language fills
out at the archetype level, right? - G)
“I thank Senator Cantwell
for bringing a spotlight to the issue of marine health,” said U.S. Rep. Jay
Inslee (D-Wash.), a hearing participant who is a co-chair of the House Oceans
Caucus, co-sponsor of the Federal Ocean Acidification Research and Monitoring
Act, H.R. 4174, and a member of the Select Committee on Energy Independence and
Global Warming. “Even though Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean look majestic
and healthy, below the surface we know that these are fragile ecosystems
struggling from the stresses of global warming and other threats.”
Washington’s commercial
fishing industry, which is threatened by disruptions from ocean acidification,
produces gross annual sales of more than $3.5 billion and accounts for nearly
10,000 jobs in the Greater Seattle area. The recreational fishing industry in
the state is valued at $1.6 billion, and $4.5 billion for the entire west
coast. Nationwide, commercial fisheries contribute over $30 billion annually to
the U.S. economy.
“While obvious economic
impacts due to climate change have been raised, such as the loss of coastal
development, rebuilding of infrastructure or impacts to commercial fisheries,
impacts associated with the relationship between a healthy environment and a
healthy economy are less frequently discussed,” said Kevin Ranker, San Juan
County Commissioner, during his testimony. “The economic impact of losing key
ecosystem services will be severe and widespread throughout our statewide
economy.”
Atmospheric carbon dioxide,
which is driving climate change, is responsible for ocean acidification.
Emissions of carbon dioxide have increased the global atmospheric carbon
dioxide concentration by 35 percent. Over half a trillion tons of carbon
dioxide or one third of all CO2 emissions since the start of the industrial
revolution have been absorbed by our oceans. Carbon dioxide reacts with
seawater to form carbonic acid, and in excess, causes oceans to become more
acidic. This hinders the ability of reefs to rebuild and can dissolve the
shells of animals such as plankton, scallops, clams, lobsters, and others
forming the base of the food chain.
Late last year, the Senate
Commerce Committee approved a bill by Cantwell and Senator Frank Lautenberg
(D-NJ) to study and address ocean acidification. Senators Ted Stevens (R-AK),
John Kerry (D-MA), and Olympia Snowe (R-ME) are also co-sponsors."
Of course, on top of this,
we know that ocean dead zones are developing, and some of our own research suggests
that 'oceans rising' will go nonlinear at some point, far beyond what the
current expectations are.
I mean, throw in a good handful of 'dancing mountains/ new lands emerging' over
the rest of the year and you have what? I mean besides a global crisis?

next Tuesday or Wednesday. But when I talked to him yesterday, he was a
seriously bummed out dude.
Since putting the
linguistics together is such a (horrible/awful/screaming/depressing) bummer,
the reports will likely not be done on a weekly basis. more like: As he
gets recovered from looking at depressing change enough to do another.
