September Monthly Summary: The Shopping Center sector prices ended the month with a 10.14% increase year-to-date [vs a 10.10% increase at the end of August] and has fallen 2.09% [vs 2.12% last month] since Q-1's end. The Mall sector ended with a year-to-date gain of 19.49% [vs a gain of 20.22% last month] and has lost 0.09% [vs a 0.50% gain last month] since Q-1's end. The Health sector finished the month with a 7.83% year to date gain [vs 6.29% last month] for the year and has fallen 6.06% [vs 7.51% last month] since Q-1's end. For the month, the 4.12% to 4.19% gain in the ten year's yield represents a 7 basis points increase. The Shopping Center sector now has an average yield of 5.18% [vs 5.18% at August's month end]. The Mall sector average yield is now 4.50% [vs 4.45% on 8-31 - up 5 basis points. The Health Care sector average yield is now 6.43% [vs 6.54% on 8-31 - down 12 basis points].
