Rae Weatherford was born on December 21, 1931 and passed away on November 18,1997. Cancer may have conquered her body but it never defeated her spirit. She is missed by those that knew and loved her.

I'm following that path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at close of day.

My life's been full, I've savored much
Good times, good friends, a loved one's touch.

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

God wanted me now, He set me free!
