- Performing original, primitive, ancient, Andalusian dance. Performances
that inspire, i.e.
"The highest achievement a dancer can hope for is to merge so completely
with her art that she is no longer a dancer, but becomes the very dance
itself," comments poet Ysabel de la Rosa."Conté de Loyo's
Flamenco does this and more - it goes beyond the dance of the body and
flowers into the deep dance of the soul."

Castanets in Spanish
music and dance, help to express both rhythm and melody.
Flamenco has both male and female aspects. Learn proper finger articulation
that leads to clear sounding castanet playing. Understand them and
play effectively. Castanets that talk, sing, and scream out your
emotions. Rhythm understood. Heartfelt satisfaction.
You may also enjoy
playing your castanets to the classics; Beethoven, Bach, Scarlatti, etc.;
and not to forget Rhythm and Blues and the Gypsy Kings.
Learn as a family.
YOU MAY
1. bring your
own.
2. you may
borrow a small pair from us.
3. you may
order from the internet.
4. ask to
purchase a pair. We may have a few.
