Model #105 (Cylindrical Shells)

This model is made of 7 concentric shells with a near-parabolic cross-section. Since the model is initially made as a geometric solid, there will be some curvature on the exterior portions. If it is inverted, as shown in the lower right panel, the impression is that of nested right circular cylinders. Woods used in the models shown, clockwise from upper right, are: cherry; white oak; and ash. The wood in delivered models depends on the availability of hardwoods.
