We are now officially looking for 12 players and a goalie to form a
Homeschool team which will play in the US Blades Spring High School
League.

Please pass this information on to anyone who might be interested.  We
are especially looking for advanced players, ages 14 and up.  They must
be homeschoolers and they must  still be in High School.

Cost: $80 for 10 games, 1 playoff  and 1 practice.  (Other practices may
be scheduled if times are available.)  Jersey is included in the price.

Deadline: Feb. 20.

Games could be scheduled Mon-Fri. with start times of  4-8 p.m.

League begins March 11th.

Parents must sign a waiver, and submit a copy of the player's birth
certificate with payment.  (I will keep the birth certificate copies in
case there is an eligibility question with US Blades Management.)  This
is a special allowance for homeschoolers, as all other players must turn
in a copy of their student ID.

There will be a tryout for a place on this team. Cost is $5.00.  Date,
time and location will be forthcoming.

While our Home School team is a Christian team,  the teams we will be
playing are from Public High Schools.  Therefore, expect rougher play and
foul language.  These games will be played using a puck, not a ball.
There is no offsides or icing in the NARCH rules, which US Blades
follows. Checking is not allowed, and there will be referees at every
game.

Safety equipment required: HECC approved helmet with full face
protection, mouthpiece, knee/shin guard, elbow pads, gloves.  Brakes must
be removed from skates.  No black tape allowed on stick blades.
