In the new Image comics, we find out that Mike is an author! (Even though it was hinted at several times in the Mirage.) The Image comics go even further to show Mike as a caring, loving turtle. Also, he's the only one to escape unscathed! (Leo lost a hand, Raph lost half his face, Don lost most of his body. . . then again, maybe Mike did lose his heart to Horridus.)
