Thanks so much to all you precious saints who pray and give financially to us. We are truly sent and we preach a life changing Gospel. Suffering is a major part of the Gospel message. The apostle Paul did not shun it, belt went in its direction many times (I Thessalonians 2:14-16)London is a darkened, wicked city, but people are being saved.

BAPTISM OF FIRE. It was my first night back at Leicester Square. I prayed and stood on a two foot ladder to preach. The crowds quickly swelled to a large size and the police came and moved me to a different area. The crowd followed and I started again. Then a man began to threaten me. He was madder than a swarm of bees stirred with a stick. Several Christians began talking to him but he could take no more and ran over behind me, kicking the ladder out from under me. I landed on my feet and shouted, "The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church!" Before I knew it, people were cussing and threatening, all full of the devil. Two fights broke out within thirty minutes. Thank God for the Christians who intervened. The devils were everywhere and mockers challenged and blasphemed God. One fell on his knees and challenged God. It was quite struggle, yet people were hungry and asking questions.

MOCKER AND BLASPHEMER WALKING WITH GOD! The next day while ministering, a large man came up smiling. I recognized him at once. It was Collin! We hugged and talked. He was a miracle that encouraged me. Two years ago he stood in the crowd speaking the most perverted statements against Christ. Mad at his remarks, I shouted, "Shut up," and called him a rude name. He got so angry, the crowd had to restrain him. That week he called and said, "I want to get saved." Steve and I went and prayed for him and tears ran down his face as he asked Jesus to take control of his life. Praise God for the power of the Holy Spirit. It was a blessing to see him doing well. He lives up north now.

WOMAN DEBATER SAVED. As I spoke to a man who was in a cult here, a woman said, "Sir I agree with this man, not you." Several times she would come up to argue. I finally would not talk to her. I felt it was a waste of time. She kept making the meetings and even called the house wanting to discuss the deity of Christ. I would not get on the phone. One night she came up and said, "Dirk, I have found Jesus to be who you have said He is." She was converted and began helping us at the meetings. What a blessing she was. Nine months later, she invited us to her baptism. Praise God. She is still walking with Christ. She truly is a saved woman!

LONDON OUTREACH CENTER. We've been told we cannot move into the pub until the end of June. There will be a lot of work to be done and it will require a lot of funds to accomplish. We need extra showers and toilets installed, cleaning, painting, carpeting, heating, etc. We have a long way to go, but GOD IS ABLE. We have already seen God do so many miracles to get this building. It's been incredible to watch. One disappointment has been the charge of $17,000 in taxes that we were supposed to have been exempt from. This took a lot of our renovating funds. Please continue to pray for the funds we will need. Thanks!
