Bob and Cozette Thomas took over operations of the Center for six weeks beginning the first of April while the Wood Family made a trip to the US. ![]() They did a tremendous job with everything. With the help of Ray Johnson, work on the cellar proceeded and much was accomplished. The best part for Elizabeth was the planting of a beautiful garden in the back. It's only an area of about 10 by 10 feet, but it's grass and flowers where once was sand and rocks. We are all enjoying it. ![]() Work on the building was not all that was accomplished. The Thomas's continued and enhanced the ministry end of the Center. Through their counseling efforts, one lady in particular was greatly assisted. Margerita was being investigated by child welfare services and her children were "on a list", which meant there was a possibility she could be judged an unfit mother and have her children taken. Bob and Cozette worked with Margerita and the local council. Because of their efforts, Margerita was cleared and the London Outreach Center became a recognized place for counseling. |
We would like to thank several people who came and assisted the Thomas's
during their stay. Michael Cavenagh came up from South England. And all
the way from South Florida came Gerry and Sharyn Barlik. Thank you all
so much for your sacrificial giving. You are a blessing to us!
![]() RAY JOHNSON came to London in February. He had never met Dirk Wood or anyone with ASEA. He only knew that God had called him to the mission field and had confirmed to him that The London Outreach Center was where he was to go. Ray was a construction engineer and his skills made the completion of the cellar possible. It's beautiful and can hold 11 visitors now. But, Ray also came for another purpose. God sent him to be trained as an evangelist. ![]() Ray will soon be leaving the London base, and transferring to the base in the Philippines to help with the Gold Mine Project there. He has been a tremendous help with the building work and evangelistic outreach. God has definitely called him to evangelize the nations. Ray does not really have any financial support. If you would like to help with his travel expenses to the Philippines, we would be most grateful. Gifts can to sent to ASEA, 3360 C.R. 76S, Arcadia, FL 34266. |
![]() JACK AND SANDRA STONE arrived in London about the time the Thomas's were leaving. Jack and Sandra originally met Dirk when they were visiting London in 1995. They heard the preaching at Leicester Square and came up to support it. The next year Jack and Sandra came to London for six weeks to help with the renovation of the building. This year they came back help some more! Praise God! And they also brought about 700 Bibles with them! Jack had a goal to pass them all out while they were here and he came close. He did leave a few behind for our Annual Open Air Witness at Trafalgar Square on August 25"! We are all very thankful for the blessing Jack and Sandra are to the London Outreach Center. Jack is a college instructor, and plans to spend their summer months working in London, helping us to reach the lost world here. Both Jack and Sandra really have a heart for the lost and love to be a witness. Jack does a great job preaching on the ladder, too! THE WOOD FAMILY arrived back to London safe and sound on May
22"'. Work had progressed very well on the cellar, but there was still
much to do. They had two weeks to get it ready for a group Of 12 arriving
June 7th. God is able! The needed finishing touches
were done the night before the group arrived. Thanks to the help of Ray,
the Stones and the Wood’s daughter, Michelle Logan, who came to visit for
four weeks, we made it. THE SAME FAMILY also made it back after
four months of itinerating in the US. They came loaded with books for the
Resource Library. Jack and Steve built wall to wall shelves to hold all
the materials. We could still use more. If you have any Christian curriculum,
reference books, Christian biographies, etc., we can use them! Ship them
to the London address in an M-Bag from the Post Office. Or, contact Bob
Thomas for help.

WORD OF LIFE YOUTH GROUP: Youth Pastor, Danny Rogers, and his
wife, Diane, brought a group of five adults and seven youth from Word of
Life in Greensboro, PA. The group came for a week of training and street
evangelism. They were all a tremendous blessing to us. They had a desire
to learn and hear from God and they all absorbed the ASEA teaching on the
Importance of the Word. They tackled the streets like pros! Of course we
hear they have had lots of experience in other places.
![]() All of them shared the Gospel from the ladder at Leicester Square! Most, if not all, mastered Psycho-Drama and the Toy Telephone Ministry. It’s easy, try it! Thanks for coming Danny, Diane, Ken, Brenda, Gina, Melissa, Lauren, Tiffany, Amanda, Jason, Mike and Phil. We miss you! ![]() THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE was taken from a devotional calendar and passed on to us: The Lord uses the most unexpected situations and unlikely ways to
bring people to Himself. Our responsibility as Christians is simple and
clear: Share the gospel where a lost world can hear it.

He read the book that night and trusted in Christ as his Savior.
Now he and his wife Stephanie are serving the Lord as missionaries.
Let’s find ways to tell others about Jesus and His love and power to save all that call on Him. We never know what God is doing in someone’s heart. Some people may wonder why we do the street ministry. Unfortunately, our most common critics are people who confess to be Christians. Our aim is to preach the Gospel out where the lost world can hear it. London is just about as much a lost world as anywhere! Please pray that those hearts which God has prepared will hear and believe! God is able! Missionary Johnny Cruz works in Honduras, Central America. One of his ministries is to coordinate a Bible School Program known as INSTE. This is a tremendous program and is going at a tremendous rate. Johnny has 1200 students in the program and is about to expand it into Guatemala and Costa Rica. Johnny invited Dirk Wood to come be the speaker at the Program’s Annual Convention. He flew to Honduras the end of June and stayed 10 days. Those days were packed full of ministry, as Johnny had Dirk lined up to preach, teach or share two-four times a day! They had a tremendous time. We hear Johnny lost his voice from translating, or was it from laughing! He reported back that the ministry had a good impact. Many are going around everywhere witnessing. Pray that the seed that was sown will bear much fruit in that country. Pray for Johnny as his already tremendous responsibilities grow even bigger! God is able! We told you there was a lot to report this time! Space does not permit us to tell of the wonderful things happening in the Philippines. Our school started with 185 students, The Logans are back at work there. The Randalls are still in the US. Tremendous things have been happening with Mark Randall and his prison work. The Gold Mine Project has raised a little over 1/4 of the needed money. |
Pray about helping with this great need. $400.00 will buy one block!
We have about 360 blocks left to cover. God is able!
