An Amber Tele and a Shoreline Strat

Here are two from Brick. I'll let him describe them;

"Bill,
This tele is a one piece USA Custom swamp ash body with a maple on maple USA Custom neck. After taking one look at the grain pattern, I knew I wanted maximum grain showing in the final finish, so I decided to try using Re Ranch neck amber for a little color after the two coats of grain filler and multiple sand and sealer applications. I just took my time and followed the directions. Final polish of the multiple clearcoats was with Finesse it II polish. A very satisfying project. The neck was finished the same, but with the minimum amount of finish. I went straight for the Finesse it II one this one. No sandpaper at all. Thanks for making a high quality lacquer available."
As for the second one Brick says;
 "I inherited a can of your Shoreline Gold thirdhand from the winner of the TDPRI drawing earlier this year. I had a beat up Squire body and a WD neck so I decided to try a refin with the gold. After sanding and drop filling the dings, as well as doweling the many pickguard holes in the body, I primed with Rustoleum gloss white lacquer. I like priming with this as the gloss finish  shows any missed imperfections and sands to a nice matte finish. Rather than hanging the body to paint the metallic, I sprayed with the body flat as per your suggestion. Being very wary of sand throughs, I only wet sanded lightly with 600 grit before going to the Finesse It II  polish. The gold looks great and really salvaged a trashed body.

Thanks,

Brick Spieth"

Thank You, Brick. You've built two beauties.
