Here is a Sunburst Strat from Gary Smith. The body is from USA Custom Guitars and has a flamed ash cap. Gary did the Sunburst with standard ReRanch aerosols. The burst was done with Neck amber, the black is pigmented Black and the red is Cherry Red. This is one of the first Sunbursts applied with the new super fine nozzles. Once the pattern was correct Gary clear coated the body nitrocellulose lacquer. This guitar has a pattern much like the Sunbursts of the late '60s and '70s.
