Here are some pics of my latest project - a Goldtop Tele. It's a mix of Les Paul and Tele. It has a PAF style pickup in the bridge, goldtop, tophat knobs, and creme plastic like a Les Paul. The Tele neck pickup, maple neck and alder body are like a Tele. Here's the details about the finish. I prepped the body using your article about spraying goldtops. Even tho it wasn't totally necessary, I filled the pores using oil-based pore-filler. The next step was a sanding sealer, followed by a white coat of BINS tinted varnish, and then the gold. Finally, clear nitro lacquer and a buff job finished it up. I am extremely pleased with how it turned out. Your products and information are invaluable when taking on a project like this!

So far, I've done 2 guitars (the purple flametop Strat on your site), and have the parts to do a third. Thank you!
