A Blonde Tele

Here is a Blonde Tele from Jack Janowiak along with a note from Jack,

Dear Bill,
Thank you for help in making my first guitar building project a success! Attached are photos of my guitar. It's a Warmoth Thinline Tele body without the f-hole. The Swamp Ash figured top is seen through two thin coats of Guitar ReRanch Blonde. Several coats of Clear were sprayed, followed by wet sanding and polishing with Finesse It II. The step-by-step instructions from ReRanch 101 were fantastic. I am very pleased with my first project! More details about the guitar include a new one-piece maple neck from B. Hefner found on Ebay. It's got a nice 1962 'C' shape with 7 1/2" radius fretboard, and single truss rod under a walnut skunk stripe. I had B. Hefner finish the neck in a durable urethane with vintage tint. I thought this would be too difficult for this first project! Hardware includes vintage tuners, a solid modern chromed brass Tele bridge, and chrome dome knobs for volume and tone controls.  Pickups consist of a Fender Noiseless single coil in the bridge position, and a DiMarzio PAF Classic in the neck position. The semi-hollow body in combination with the pickups give a great sound which can range from Jazzy warm and clean, or brown Bluesy distorted. It was challenging, satisfying, and in the end, a great project! Thanks again!
