: I just finished a Saga TELE kit, and all the predrilled holes seemed to match pretty well. The neck pocket was firm and tight. Be sure to settle on which new tuners you will use before you drill holes. Although you won't have trouble locating those predrilled holes after painting, just be sure to seal them up before your wet sanding, to avoid swelling. If you have one of the TELE kits you might want to check the bridge assembly in relationship to the pick guard location. Mine was just a smidge "off".

: Good luck, stick with the ReRanch Forum, these guys are GREAT!

Seal the holes with the sanding sealer slash sand and sealer??? before I paint? Or seal them after the painting? If after, using what? These holes are already drilled, and I am hoping to find new tuners that have the same diameter hole due to my lack of equipment.

On the subject of sealer, I am thinking that I should probably use the sealer on the side of the headstock that I cut and shape myself, elsewise weirdness might occur...

Thanks for the advice.
Elizabeth
