I'm gonna start my first binding project as soon as I finish stripping an old body....
It seems that the general approach is to apply the binding to an unfinished body, tape it off, spray primer, spray color coats, remove tape, and spray clear. I pursposely left sanding steps out for the sake of length.
Anyway, I'm gonna do CAR, which means, primer, silver base, & see through red. I'm thinking that may cause quite a bit of buildup above the level of the binding.
How do I avoid that?
