A Natural Maple Cap Tele
 

This stunning maple cap Tele with mahogany back and neck was built and finished by Mike Mallady. This was Mike's first guitar finishing project and is an interesting study. The mahogany was filled with mahogany colored grain filler but other than the filler no stain was used in the project. The color comes from the natural beauty of the wood. Nitrocellulose sand and sealer was applied over the filled mahogany and unfilled maple. ReRanch clear nitrocellulose was used for the deep and clear final finish.
