Following the leadership in the Holy Spirit, the purpose of Gethsemane
United Methodist Church is to present to all people the Good News of
God's redeeming love in Jesus Christ and to promote the love of God
and neighbor in the world, expressed through loving concern for persons:
By providing opportunities for worshipping God, experiencing Christian
fellowship among ourselves and with others, understanding the Christian faith,
and growing in Christian maturity;
By helping the family develop a sense of mission and propose;
By inspiring persons to be involved creatively as Christians in social issues; and
By inspiring and equipping individuals to discover and fulfill their own ministries in the world.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. --
