Batman and Batman Detective comics

I know most people think Batman is sad, but some of the books and old stuff is pretty good. I'm not even talking about the new stuff from the cartoon, but the real comics.

Murder Can Be Fun

Murder Can Be Fun is a comic in some ways, but mostly it takes real life stories and puts them into comic form. So you get to read about all the crazy ways people kill each other and stuff.  There are loads of mags that deal with this sort of thing also. I am not mental, but I find murder intriguing and always wonder how people can do it. Maybe the more I read, the more I will learn about the criminal, mental or crazy mind.

Oni Double Features

Oni started doing the first Jay and Silent Bob comic with Kevin Smith and View Askew. Each comic is packed full of fun and craziness but TIMES TWO! Zombie Kid is one of my faves. But the thing is, they never get stale... new characters are introduced all the time. It is worth giving it a look.

Clerks

If you have seen the movie you will love the comic. And if you havne't seen the movie then DO IT NOW!!! The comic just carries on more of the crazy conversations and antics of the movie. As with all Kevin Smith stuff .. the characters crossover from the movies and other Kevin Smith related comics. So you have to be on your toes to catch all the great inside jokes!!!

Jay and Silent Bob

Again, more brillient Kevin Smith material. Jay and Silent Bob are the voices of a generation, my generation. They might seem like a couple of stoners, but if that is all you see in them ... then you have been fooled. They have a lot to say about life and the world and most of it is very relevant.

Luba

Luba is done by Gilbert Hernandez who is one of the Love and Rockets brothers. It is odd, but interesting. Not really sure what else I can say about it, but check it out.
