I went skiing last week and it was sooooo much fun!!! Went to Utah and hit Park City and skiied at Deer Valley, Snow Bird and Snowbasin. They were all incredible. Of course I busted my butt many times, however I want to go again next year. The best part tho was one day we had a snow ball fight and it was the best ... everyone was lookin at us like suckers who had never been in snow (which was true for some) however we were having all the fun!! The snow was real powdery and they say you can't build a snowman in powder snow, but leave it to us!! we did it and it looked too cool. I would say if you have never been it is something worth trying. I wasn't to sure about it at first .. the cold and the skiing .. but both were money! I should have the pics up by next week. Also I started reading The Breathren, by John Grisham and so far it is so funny. Not total typical, but I was on the plane laffing out loud and people were looking at me like I was on something. Also, if there is anyone who can do graphics or web based coding there are some guys with a pretty cool company in Salt Lake looking for people ... see their site ... www.hallyotoole.com and tell them I sent ya. Anyhow off to bed to read. Can't wait until next month ... off to NYC! WOOOWOOO!!!! 15 JAN 2001 pm

Wotever, people suck. The holiday's sucks and it is just cold! WA WA WA! OK now that I have gotten that out. It really is cold .... and lets face it, for the most part people really do suck. I have been playing lots lately, but the thing about playing is that when it stops or there is a lull you just don't know what to do with yourself. I am not longer surprised by how shit people are most of the time. I mean don't get me wrong ... there are good people out there ... they are just hiding or something. There are some good shows coming up ... and I am going skiing in Jan. (please e-mail all bets as to if and which bones I may/might break). New Years is 2 days away, the year did fly by and there have been a million and one changes in my life. So I guess things are on the up slide. We shall see how long that lasts. The questions we are all pondering aren't going anywhere and there aren't any answers anyhow. So just get on with life. Someone told me recently that life is about how many Toys you have when you die ... discuss amongst yourselves .... it's like BUTTA! 29DEC2000 pm

I am so over all this presidential shit. Just get it over. And HOORAH the holiday's are here again! What more can you want than family, food and over crowded malls *rolls eyes*. At least it is nice and cold outside and you can wear cute fuzzy lil sweaters. Wonder how many people I will see when I go out wed. night. It always happens. Anyhow I am going to Chuy's! YUMMY!!!! 19 NOV 2000 am

I just got home from seeing Elliot Smith and Rotary Downs. I love it when you go to see a band or a play (like Mid Summers Night Dream) and you are all grins. Elliot Smith played Angels as his last song and it was so perfect! Kristin said she had looked on his site and that he wouldn't play it tonight and he did. Every song was perfect and he played a good mix of old stuff and new stuff. He had a movie in the back ground and it was very Sparklehorse. The opening band, Rotary Downs, I can't find anything about them on the inet. They sounded like a combination of Pavement and Weezer and someone else I can't quiet put my finger on. The Sea and Cake are tomorrow night, not sure if I am goin or not yet. But I am satisfied tonight. Good friends, good gig .... things are well. Also I have bumped into a few old friends and that is cool too. Nice to know you aren't forgotten. Plus work is good too. Nice to have a job you can work hard and still have fun. Now I am gonna listen to Sparklehorse and veg before bedtime. Sleep well all. Happy dreams. 19OCtober2000

Well, I have been going to the movies lots and it looks like the gigs are picking up around town. So that is cool. I am looking forward to Halloween. One of my favorite times of the year. I think I will have to start hitting the resale shops to find something. It is silly how much Halloween can cost you. So last night I drank lots of cosmopolitans, bra. They were yummy. However, it did keep me from getting up at my designated time to achieve the days deeds. O well most of it got done anyhow. And now back to you regularly scheduled program. Speaking of TV, is it sad that I am looking forward to next Thursday night? It is the premier of Friends, Will and Grace and ER!! Wooo Wooo TV time again. Well just on Thursday nights anyhow. Right off you go, stop reading this dribble and move on. Do something productive! 04OCT2000 pm

Things have been strange. People have been weird. What else is new tho ... right. Work is crazy busy but that is good ... the day's fly by. I went down to Corpus for labor day weekend and had a great time. There was a cute bartender at  Landry's so I had a few drinks. I had a good birthday. A few of my friends are going a bit crazy, hopefully the bed time stories are helping tho. I am pretty happy right now and things are going well for me. =) There are a few good gigs comming up .. but go to the music page for that info. Tonight I am going out and maybe even drinking for the first time in ages. woowoo 22September2000 pm.

I just went and saw the best movie ... it is called Saving Grace and it totally made my day. You have to go see. Check out my review on my films link. Otherwise things here are changing and that is a good thing I guess. For now anyhow. Just don't ever give up anything you hold dear like friends no matter what else is on offer. 9 times out of 10 it won't be worth it. O well I am going to listen to Built to Spill and go read. Have a lovely evening! 14Aug2000 pm.

I really don't understand people at all. Well some people anyhow. They say one thing and do another. Or change their mind when someone else is around. What happened to being true to yourself and standing strong? What happened to it being ok to do the right thing, when people knew what the right thing was? It is all a mess. So i will sit here and download music and sit on irc once again. Life returns to normal somewhat. Strange how you miss the lil unimportant things isn't it. 02Aug2000 pm.

In the Aero Plane Over the Sea ... I am gone, will maybe update form London, but I doubt it. I am soooo excited!! Should be gRRRRRRRRRRReat fun!! When I get back I will have loads of pics and stuff. later! -out!

"Maybe we'll all just keep getting richer and richer until everybody in America is a billionaire. And how weird will that be? Nobody will care about money anymore - just sex. You'll have to fuck the guys at the car wash to get the interior vacuumed." - www.suck.com filler! Anyhow, i worked late tonight and am in a shitty mood. I am excited about going london, but i have been so busy.. i have left everything till the last min and have not enough time to do it all. i have no one to blame but myself, and yet i blame you all! the masses of people that call my office or co workers that make me work! well not really, but it would be nice.  Anyhow, i have wasted enough time and now i will listen to death cab for cutie turned up really loud and do stuff! hoorah!! 5 june 2000 pm

Yo La Tengo - and then nothing turned itself inside out - is my background music tonight. it is late and i have just come home from:

"GYNOMITE: Fearless, Feminist Porn" in conjunction w/ Nancy Littlejohn Fine Art presents "Breaking the Cherry" an evening of spoken word and performance WHAT: A GYNOMITE: Fearless, Feminist Porn event-- another performance of Sex Positive Porn for Chicks GYNOMITE, the ongoing project of spoken word artist/Houston homegirl Liz Belile, provides a safe arena for women to publicly (and artfully) express their deepest desires and sluttiest fantasies, without anxiety or apology.GYNOMITE won a "Best Reading Series of 1999" from the Houston Press and has consistently packed the house at the Atomic Cafe, Diverseworks and No Tsu Oh. This round features a bevy of writers who have been working closely with Belile for the past 2 months in her "Breaking the Cherry" pornographic writing and performance workshop for women. The evening will feature a few familiar Houston artists, plus the Gynomite debut of much exciting new talent: Liz Belile, Sheila Bergeron, Amy Bruce, Christa Forster, Elizabeth Gilbert, Trish Herrera, J.A. Green, Carlisle Vandervoort, Maxine Witcher...and more!

It was really interesting and it made me think lots, I wanted to come home and write in my journal and that I have done. Some of it was just moving, some funny, and some that was so real that you could imagine it happening or have been in a situation like it and it just meant even more to you. I poured wine all night and ended up working as i do at most places, but i might get to do the class for free in august..... i have offered to work for the class as i tend to do. Anyhow today, I was bitching about my hair and the way i looked all day at the salon, but everyone seems to thin i am just nervous about going to london. who knows maybe i am, not sure. i think i have been over doing it lately and am looking forward to a day of doing nothing tomorrow. @=) night    am 04 june 2000.

Modest Mouse - The Moon and Antarctica plays in the back ground. It isn't that late, but I am sleepy. Random thoughts running thru my mind again. What fun. I'm not doing anymore ads, like 95% of the guys suck in some way. O well moving up and on and over or something. Some people moved in next door. Do I really care? I guess not. I didn't bother going to the show at Rudz last night. I just hung out with my friend and we had a few beers and played pool, but it was a really nice time. Anyhow I will leave with this thought - Empty room filled with desire or is it a room filled with empty desire? 01June2000 pm

I just got done watching American History X. I remember when I was in London and saw it was coming out I thought it looked good. Well, I never got to see it. And being the exciting Saturday night it was for me, I saw that it was on cable and watched it. There was so seriously wrong shit that went down in that movie, and some people said that Derrick (Ed Norton) was a bitch at the end for seeing how wrong he was, but whatever. If he would have never been involved in all that hate stuff to begin with, things might have happened differently. Anyhow, I thought it was a really good movie. Also, I am looking forward to Wednesday!! Clerks the comic series will be on ABC and there is a good show at Rudz:

THE MAKERS/THE BANGS -- Wednesday, May 31 @ Rudyard's -- The Sarah Dougher show is being done earlier in the evening to accomodate you spry young'uns with enough energy to do two shows in one evening! The Makers got their asses kicked (literally) at the Shimmy Shack (now Mary Jane's) about five years ago by the audience for insulting Houston a bit too much and swore they'd never come back. Now here they are, and they're touring in support of a record that's even more pompous than anything they've done before (though I'm still undecided on whether it's any good or not). Still, it should be interesting - but bring your shit kickers just in case! Kill Rock Stars brat rock group THE BANGS open, and should appeal to anyone into high-energy power pop.

Should be good, but check back after the show and I will letcha know how it is. Anyhow it is late.  28May2000 am

After a busy week, I am chillin at home tonight. The Breakfast Club is on. This is one of the best movies. I mean I don't remember detention ever being like this, but that's movies for ya. Anyhow, I was just laying there watching it and thought how much I want to find a guy like Bender (Judd Nelson) *sidebar - I wonder if that is where they got Bender from on Futurerama* No one wanted to go find a guy like Andrew, even thought he was a jock, he was still kind of dorky. And Brian, well yea we all wanted a him =P. I dunno ... just a random thought. One thing that sucks, is I have no food in my apt at the mo. And I just want something little to snack on!!! ARSE!!!! I guess I will have to venture out in the heat and get something. I wonder if Marble Slab is still open. Yummy ice cream *licks lips* ... anyhow ... later! 27May2000 pm

Tonight I went to see Stereolab! They were really good ... I enjoyed them more than I thought I did. I almost didn't go, cuz I was tired and have been up late every night since sat. but I went and had a cool time ... they are alot better live than I thought they would be. I saw 4 people there I knew and they were all from the inet .. pretty funny if you ask me. There was some guy from ad's that said he really liked them and I told him about the show and he said he was going, but I can't find his email to see if he went .. o well .. I would have to say going to shows not knowing alot about the bands is a good thing sometimes ... cuz on first listen, you might not hear the right thing. And all the bands that I have seen without knowing about them I ended up really liking. So I am gonna write a few more mails and sit here and listen to Woodie Guthrie some more. Night 23 May 2000

That was early this morning, and now I am home, a bit bored and talking to people on the I-net. There was an old Molly Wringwald movie on called Fresh Horses. It has her and Andrew McCarthy in it, but it never made it. But you can tell why, it is pretty crap. So I am just sitting here listening to 3wk on RA www.3wk.com ... they play good music. I have been meeting some guys from the ads on the i-net, but most of them I have nothing in common with and they don't listen to any of the music I like. I guess at one point I listened to shit music, but right now, I just want someone to enjoy gigs with and stuff. Guess that is one thing I miss about London and Ricky. Funny how more American Indie bands played in London than they do here.  O well I might be back later. I am gonna figure out something to do. 20 May 2000 pm

You used to be able to find my resume here, but there is no need for it anymore. I have a job I love right now, and I don't want people to have that much info about it. So I am going to use this as my rant page. As I am home and bored and have nothing better to do page. So there is no telling what kind of rubbish you will find on here. However, at the mo I am running late and have to get ready for work. So later. 20 May 2000 am.

Mail me if you want.
