The Family Choir is a new group that allows families to sing together in the choir. The choir performs during Sunday services. Anyone from 3rd grade to adult is welcome to join. For more information, contact Family Choir Director Christy Schwalenberg.
Ushers
The usher schedule is set up on a rotating basis. Men interested in helping as ushers should contact Lou Catozzi. The Usher Schedule and The Usher Guide are available to browse online.
Holy Word Women's Guild
This women's organization offers many opportunities for service and fellowship. The wide variety of services the Women's Guild provides are coordinated by a committee for each of five main areas: church care (altar, banners, decorating); spiritual care (cradle roll, baptism and confirmation gifts, visits to shut-ins); missions (LWMS, supporting various mission projects); fellowship (meals and special events); and planning (meetings and fundraisers). For more information, contact Martha Witt.
School Booster Club
The Booster Club is in charge of setting up field trips for our students and finding drivers for these trips, organizing garage sales, and coordinating refreshments for various events (Play Night, Science Expo, History Fair). For more information, contact Gaye McDanel or Mary Patterson.
Caregivers Support Group
This group provides assistance and support to those who are caregivers for a loved one in the home, a nursing home, or a hospital. For more information, contact Joyce Crouser.
