Manager's Note

Well, another tournament bites the dust in a BIG way.We are coming off a very impressive showing in the small town of Schulenburg, TX which hosted 28, yes 28 women's teams during it's annual festival. We managed to go home with the number one prize while sporting boxers of our choice and dancing all day Saturday and Sunday until the tourney was done and the dust settled from the all the heel kicking.  All-tourney selections went to: Ami Gresham, Debra Jean Lowrey, Susan Carter and, Philippa Whitfield with the MVP title going to Melinda Webb who was an offensive firecracker. In addition, Rockford tourney at-a-girls go to Allie Walton and Angie Spangler who helped us secure the World Series berth.

I am very pleased with how we have managed to gain ground on our performance and have found a very unique way to take the game to a winning level. As we prepare for the World Series over labor day weekend, I hope that we can maintain the intensity and ATTITUDE required to be successful and by all means........have fun.
