Magic: The Gathering is the incredibly addicting collectible card game by Richard Garfield produced by Wizards of the Coast. Players build a deck from a selection of several thousand different cards, each with original artwork.
Each player is a powerful wizard trying to gain a foothold in the land of Dominia by controlling lands, summoning creatures, and casting spells in an attempt to force the other players out of Dominia. Each player begins with 20 life points, and when that total falls below 1, that player is out of the game.
Magic has been around since 1993, and has since far exceeded any original expectations of its creator. Almost all of the cards ever printed have been sold out within a few months of printing throughout the life of the game!
