I had this trailer custom built by the former owner of AeroExpress trailers. The owner is not in business anymore, but he was willing to take on this custom project for me. I am not into the really big birds and wanted something a little smaller than his standard 10' bed model. I decided on a 4'x8' box to accommodate all of my airplanes while taking up as little room in the garage as possible.
The frame is steel, the box is wood, and the lid is a welded aluminum structure. The lid is light and easily opened with one hand. The trailer is easily maneuvered and attached without the use of a tongue jack or dolly. It tows very well at speed and my little Saturn doesn't even know it is there. I am very happy with the quality of the unit.
