
We offer a correspondence course for persons who meet the following prerequesties. This course is offered
for 2,150.00 U.S. dollars. The tuition includes all in-house training materials, Aviation Weather and Weather Services manual, and the practical examination. The practical
examination is administered by the Academy's FAA designated examiners upon completion of instruction. The
dates are:

TO QUALIFY FOR THE CORRESPONDENCE COURSE
1. These persons have at least 2 years experience in the 3 years before the
date of application, in any combination of the following areas:
A certified flight instructor (CFI)
A person who holds a commercial and instrument airman's certificates.
Persons employed as flight followers for supplemental operations.
2. You must take and pass a written test based on each chapter in the (ATP)
written examination guide.
3. After completing the chapter tests, you must take and pass the (ADX) aircraft dispatcher computerized test prior to
joining a class at the Academy. The
applicant is responsible for paying the testing facility for the (ADX) test. The Academy will provide
the location of a testing facility near the student's residence.
4. In the case of flight followers--you must be able to
provide a letter written by the Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, or the Manager-Flight
Control, that you have at least two (2) years
of the past three (3) years experience working in the operations department of an air carrier.
5. You must receive written confirmation from the Academy that you qualify to attend the
reduced hour course.
6. This course is for U.S. Nationals only.
7. You may purchase the Airline Transport Pilot written exam guide from the Academy for our cost
plus postage. ($25.00).
