At the 1840 census Edward Looney., 20 to 30., with wife in same age group, lived in Marion County, Tenn., apparently near to Arthur G. Looney. They were listed at the 1850 census of Union County, Ill., as Edward Luna 28, b. Tenn., and Charlotte Luna, b. Ky. 1828. With them lived Salra Rainbolt, b. 1828 Ala., and a child Jane b. Ill. 1849 (Presumably Rainbolt). In 1860 this family is listed in Bollinger County, Mo., Morgan Looney 41, b. Tenn., Charlotte Looney 41, b. Ky., with Sibba Rainlot 30, b., Ala., and Percilla J. 11, b. Mo. (sic).

In 1860 in Bollinger County,, Mo., as well as in 1840 in Marion County,, Tenn., they were living near to Arthur 0. Looney. The father was in Union County, Ill., by March of 1851 when he made affidavit. There is no definite evidence at hand that Edward Morgan and Charlotte Looney had children.
