The last image in this series was taken during a family outing
sometime around 1955.

This page is dedicated to the memory of my Uncle, Clarance
Herman Johnson (15 Aug 1914 - 14 June 1944).
Lt. Clarance H. Johnson served aboard the Submarine USS
GOLET (SS 361) during WWII. The USS GOLET was lost
along with the crew of Eighty Two brave men on June 14, 1944
while on patrol along the Japanese coast.
