Travel Requirements into Jamaica
Jamaica does not require either a passport or shots of any kind. You will need a birth
certificate and a picture ID.
The birth certificate must be a state issued certificate.
Hospital issued certificates are not adequate. If you are a minor traveling without a parent you
will need a travel permission letter from a parent. A medical release signed by the parent will be
adequate as a permission slip. However, to avoid any questions both would be preferable. Most
states will issue a picture ID to a minor at the same locations where drivers licenses are issued.
