Beverly graduated from Burleson High School and soon thereafter began, with her family, Hogan Acres and Timber Green; two of the most successful developments in Burleson.  Beverly has since then graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of psychology and a Masters of Business Administration, both at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth.

Beverly has two children, Kenneth (a graduate of Baylor University Law School) and Charles (another Wesleyan Graduate).  Beverly enjoys home decorating, gospel singing, playing the piano, reading, traveling and learning.  She is also a member of First United Methodist Church of Burleson, and volunteers at the Parenting Center of Tarrant County.
