 John Volkman, pictured with his children, Jacie (at left, graduated from Trinity Valley School in Fort Worth, and now attends Texas A&M, studying pre-veterinarian medicine) and Chris , and also with his father, Donald. John constructed his first neighborhood at age 25. He graduated from Burleson High School, spent a period of time in the navy, and soon thereafter began plans for his first developments, Hogan Acres and Timber Green. He has 25 years of land development and home building experience and has constructed literally many hundreds of homes across the metroplex and developed thousands of acres of land for neighborhoods.
John and his wife Kathy enjoy raising thoroughbred horses, traveling to Kentucky, cooking, reading and visiting his daughter in College Station.
He also volunteers with Big Brothers and Sisters, attends First United Methodist Church, and is a 44 year resident of Burleson.
