 The Volkman Family began in the home building and land development business back in 1972. Donald, Donna, Beverly and John began their first development, Hogan Acres, in Burleson, Texas on Donna's father's farm off of the Old Alvarado Highway, now know as Renfro Street. Since the development of Hogan Acres, the Volkman Family has developed tracts of land in all parts of the metroplex, including Tarrant and Johnson counties.
In 1996 the Volkman Family decided to focus strictly on land development and closed the home building segment of the company. Since then, Volkman Family Development has developed Churchill Park and Magnolia Farms, both in Burleson, and The Meadowlands, in Joshua. |
