I now fly a Diamond DA20-C1 Eclipse.

This two-seater sport plane has a canopy top, stick controls, electric flaps, a fuel injected

engine and a Garmin GNS 430 color moving map GPS navigation system.

It climbs at 1000 feet per minute, and burns only 5 gallons per hour.

Lots of fun to fly!

I love to stay active...whether it be with my organizational memberships, exploring new places (and languages, cultures, foods, and customs), or trying new things.

I am a licensed Private Pilot (airplane single-engine land) as well as a PADI-certified scuba diver.  I currently fly a Piper Archer and a Diamond Eclipse (see photos).

I also enjoy (or have enjoyed) parachuting, hot air ballooning, and sailing.

I’ve been very fortunate to have been able to spend a considerable amount of time in France (Paris, Le Mans, Grenoble, Lyon, Bordeaux, Provence) and in Japan (Osaka, Tokyo, Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima).

I’ve also visited:  Holland, Germany, Canada, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Corsica, Spain, Switzerland, Egypt, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Austria, Italy, England, Greece, Belgium, Korea, China, Taiwan, Peru, and lots of other great places.

I’ve loved automobiles since I was 12 years old.  I enjoy driving my Mercedes Benz CLK320.  I gave my C230 to my nephew.  I sold my Rolls Royce Silver Spur, but may get another one someday.

Another interest of mine for many years has been the appreciation for, and preservation of, historic homes.  I renovated and lived in an historic Dallas home for four years.

My latest project has been the construction of my new house, which I designed.
