In the Shadow of Musicn

The fall of 2009 two of my photos
were in an exhibit called "Wine and Music"
at the Pure Wine Cafe in Ellicott City.
For you wine lovers, I highly recommend
Pure Wine Cafe which is a fabulous
little wine bar with delicious tapas food.

In the Spring of 2009, I had a piece of art in the Out of Order show at MAP. I'm also very honor to have the hospital I was born in, purchase some of my Baltimore prints to hang on their walls. In May, I lost one of my best friends, Barb. I met her, her husband and her brother in May of 2007, photographing the Preakness balloons in the Inner Harbor. We instantly felt like we have known each other forever. She became my shooting buddy and one of my best friends. We had a lot of great times just hanging out, laughing, and photographing together. Unfortunately she was plucked out of everyone's life very, very unexpectedly. Barb definitely was a photoholic, wanting to go out shooting at least 3 or 4 times a week. I would tease her and say she needed to do the 12 steps in PA (Photoholics Anonymous). I was very blessed to have her in my life for 2 years and to have her as a best friend. So remember everyone, live your life for the moment, love with all your heart, love one another, treat people like you want to be treated, give from the heart, forgive those who have hurt you and make all your dreams come true . Because you don't know if you will have a tomorrow. I love you Barb and miss you.

The summer of 2008 was fabulous. I was
out and about photographing a lot,
especially some incredible new
musicians like Langhorne Slim,
Theresa Andersson
, David Ford

and Blue King Brown .
I highly recommend going to see any
of these musicians in concert. One of
the highlights of my summer, was that I
got the opportunity to see the Frida
Kahloa exhibit which was amazing.
Over the Winter I will be focusing
on exhibiting and hopefully putting
together a benefit concert for
abused kids.

I took the summer of 2008 off from exhibiting, to do more
photography and artwork. I want to thank everyone, for
their support over the last year. And a special thank
you to all the photographers who have taught me
more photography tricks and photoshop techniques,
and also whose photos have inspired me.
(Barbara Williams, Murray Bloom,
Nick Vedros, Leo Lubow,Tony Sweet,
Robert Creamer, Michael Greco, Henry Ng,
Robert McClintock, Middleton Evans,
Jed Kirschbaum, etc.....)

I've also started a new ism called Phobarism which
means the art of being photographed beyond
all recognition.
