Marionette Making
Basic principles in making string puppets (nine strings). Materials include airplane control, scarf material, eyes, beads, strings, hooks, and head (styrofoam or wood), & glue. Students will make their own marionette and manipulate them. Groups can buy their own materials or order from the instructor at $5 each. Participants should be at least 11 years old, limited to 12. Fee plus tax: $50 for Albuquerque, $70 for Sta Fe (2 hours). If there are more than 12 students, time and fee will be adjusted.

Ventriloquism
Basic techniques in "throwing your voice" using a hand puppet (with movable mouth). Students will try voicing for the puppet, then two voices for him(her) and puppet and then will try other voices. Participants should be at least 8 years old, limited to 10, fee plus tax: $30 for Albq., $50 for Sta. Fe (1 hour). If there are more than 10 students, time and fee will be adjusted.
