Ken's Personal Interests

Being the old fogie married guy that Ken is now, his interest and activities have shifted. Of course, his beautiful, intelligent, kind, virtuous wife Kori is his top earthly priority, and right after that comes Keelie, who is currently in utero. He hasn't been getting to Disneyland as often as he'd like, or getting to the cinema as often as he'd like. Ken is interested in most aspects of the entertainment industry, and likes to visit theme parks and similar venues.

He loves to read. "I tend to read a lot of nonfiction, as I'm constantly trying to educate myself. However, I enjoy good fiction, too."

His favorite performance entertainer is "Weird Al" Yankovic. "I love his music, his videos, his concerts, his movie, and I loved his television show." Al's music is regularly played on Dr. Demento's radio program.

Ken has strong opinions philosophically and politically, but he doesn't bite. He tends to be easy-going and can get along smoothly with people he totally disagrees with. He urges fellow citizens to get informed about civic issues and to become involved in their local community.

"My biggest political issues are national sovereignty and limited government. The Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution are therefore very important documents to me. The federal government of the U.S. has grown way too large and usurped too much power from the citizens and states. At the same time, too much of our national independence is being surrendered to international bureaucrats and their U.S. fleecing treaties. Having said all of that, let me also declare that conspiracy theorists are nuts and terrorism for any cause is evil."

Ken believes in lifelong learning, development, and personal growth. He enjoys the free and open exchange of ideas, craves a steady supply of information, and would go to pieces without a networked desktop computer.
