B ___ Died 1856 (we also think in TN). W. C. was ordained Methodist Minister
circuit rider. Lived in Indiana until Land records at courthouse
destroyed by fire. Squatters took land forcing family to move to Tennessee.
They had three sons.

SAMUEL CRAWFORD KYLE * (farmer) born 9- 8- 1852 Indiana
Died 12-21-1906 Buried in Freestone County Wortham TX Cemetery. Son
Joseph Sylvester hand carved headstone (S. C. Kyle) and is found just left
of sons’ grave. Married SARAH ELIZABETH COLLIER - Born 1860-1862
in Dyersberg, Reelfoot County, TN(this was broken up into three counties
see 1895 maps Lake County,
Dyer
County & Obion County)
Died 1-19-1926 in Glenn Flora, TX of Brights Disease. Buried El Campo,
TX in Lakeview Cemetery next to son Samuel Zora. 1880 sensus has them farming
in Arkansas. Sarah ‘s mother was a full blood Indian princess of the Iroquois
tribe. A now lost family document was said to have been given to
Sarah leaving much of the land that is now the city of Indianapolis to
her. Before the document was lost several of the heirs had tried
to file suite over the years to have that land grant recognized. S.C. was
ordained primitive Baptist Minister July 5, 1887 at Mars Hill, Dyer County
Tenn. Family moved to Texas in 1891 and settled in Dewitt County
and moved to Wharton County TX soon after. In 1860 Census shows Samuel
Kyle, age 8, Birthplace Indiana, living in Moorland, Muskegon, Michigan
in the home of Joseph Bohler age 31 a shingle maker from /badeb,Germany,
and Eva W. Bohler age 31 of Baden, Germany, and Nicholas Schooler age 31
a shingle maker from Prussia with Mary Schooler age 4 of MI.

Died 1-23-1990 of old age in Houston, Harris County Texas. Married
to WILLIAM C. (Joe) LITTON Born 5/24/1919 in Tenn. D 12/17/1982, brother
of EDNA MAE LITTON, JOSEPH SYLVESTER’S wife (see below for more info).

Note from Tim Coyle DNA relative and researcher. Now I need more info
on Samuel's father, William. I'm pretty sure he was
born in Indiana. Robert and Cliff probably died young. William was
likely born in Indiana and Rachel in Ohio.
