The Duncanville Noon Lions Club once again is proud to carry forward the long-standing tradition of providing educational assistance to some deserving Duncanville High School graduates. We are well aware of the need for young people to prepare themselves for the adventures of life and are excited to assist in this process.

Our financial grants are available to all 2008 graduates of Duncanville High School who want to further their education, whether it is at a university, junior college or trade school. Educational achievements and financial needs are only two areas we take into consideration. We are looking for well-rounded students who have participated in extra curricular activities, have a strong sense of volunteerism and a strong work ethic.

It is important that the application form be completed in its entirety. Failure to do so may disqualify the application from further evaluation. Your high school transcript attached to the completed form is all that should be submitted. Please do not include letters of recommendation, separate lists of accomplishments or separate essays, as they will not be considered.  We reserve the right to request a copy of the completed 2007 income tax form or other documents to verify the income level submitted on the application. If you receive a full paid scholarship from another source, the Duncanville Noon Lions Club has the right to resend its scholarship.
