Dear Business and Community Leader,

I am pleased to announce the planning has begun for the annual Duncanville Lions Club Foundation Scholarship and Charity fundraiser “Las Vegas Night”. The Extravaganza event is always the last Saturday evening of February, right here in the Dallas area..  This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2009 and will be held at the InfoMart in Dallas, 1950 M. Stemmons Freeway (1-35 west). The evening includes: dinner; music, entertainment; door prizes - including a trip to Las Vegas, bingo, cash auction, signature auction, chip auction using chips included with admission and any extra won playing casino style games like Blackjack, Craps & Roulette, and a cash bar will also available.

The proceeds from this event provide scholarships for Duncanville High School students, enabling them to realize their dreams of attending college.  Additionally, the event provides funding for many local charities, including the Duncanville Outreach Ministries, Special Olympics, ALL Lions Club supported District Charities including vision exams and glasses for students and adults and our Mobile Eye Clinic.  You can choose to be a partner in this endeavor by simply donating an item for one of the three auction levels (cash, signature and/or chip). Door prizes are welcomed and will be given away throughout the evening.

The Lions Club would also welcome your participation as a sponsor of the event.  For your donation, you will receive sponsor recognition, tickets for the event, and a priority table (based on sponsorship level).  Please review the sponsorship information attached.
