'99 promises to be a busy year for Lostrack Records. Our second
12" single will be out early summer '99. Lostrack 002: miguelq - Paratrooper solo jr - Visionary Also coming in August '99 a second soundtrack collaboration with director/producer Xandy Smith from NYU Film School. Look for additional live performances throughout the coming months and also additional 12" releases on other domestic jungle labels. |

Pinguino informed me today that Tori do - The Epic (the enhanced CD ROM comic book) should be available by this weekend. The CD contains a track by Solo Jr and two tracks by Miguelq in addition to a track by RE: (a division of Consciousness Lab). Lostrack 001 - Miguelq & Solo Jr - The Truth EP has just been released. You can hear samples of the tracks on the audio section of the website. We'll be placing them in stores around Dallas and Texas as fast as we can and also passing them along to distributors around the country. Keep your eyes open. The record is being filed under Lostrack Collective or Miguelq & Solo Jr. Big props to Squiky for pushing milad and I to put Truth on the EP and to mundo and squiky both for the help and support getting the record out. | ||||||
| 10.9.98 | solo jr played on the 13th hour at KVRX 91.7 FM UT austin radio tonight from 11pm to 1am. Again the show was broadcast over the internet. He did an excellent trance/house live PA tonight. Also, we played out previews of The Mongoose and Truth the two selections from the forthcoming EP featuring migueq & solo jr. drum n' bass in your face.....we hope to have the pressings back from the plant by early november. | ||||||

solo jr played a live pa at Saturdayz House tonight. miguelq and squiky "tried" to do a head to to head vs set with solo jr, but due to those intermittent midi sync problems, well enough said, needless to say that didn't work out. Nonetheless, props to milad for pulling off a nice live pa. | ||||||

miguelq played Nocturnal Nation this past Saturday. The party was fairly packed due to the headliner, Rabbit in the Moon. Many thanks to Lucien and Trinitywerks Recordings and True Family Productions for the opportunity to play there. The night was jam packed with excellent DJs from DRC to Monk, Vishnu to Coy West and many, many more. Additionally, there were 6 local Texas live PAs playing throughout the evening: Mundo, RTFM, Liquid22, Lucien, Turtle, and Miguelq. The party went down mostly without a hitch. Thanks for all those who showed.... | ||||||

Jungle Phever had a rather slim turnout, but overall was a fun party. Miguelq did a vs. jungle set with Lucien of Trinitywerks Recordings which considering they only practiced twice was probably pretty last minute........but it went fine even with the absence of monitors........ | ||||||

The Second Annual Texas Electronica Festival was quite simply....amazing. The multitude and variety of acts and DJs present was simply mindboggling. The heat was miserable of course, but hey what do expect....it's summer in Texas. The visuals were amazing as well thanks to Raid-5. If you weren't there, go next year and don't miss out. | ||||||

Zack did a solid job last night at Ressurection. He had some problems with the monitors being so bloody loud that his ears bled, but pulled it off well. Solo Jr also had an awesome live pa set at Resurrection. If you missed out, he played some real nice trance, and then segued into some great jungle which really got the small crowd at the 4th tent moving. Great party, beautiful weather, great music... | ||||||
