One Year Anniversary

May 18th, 2002 is a special day. Yes, it is someone's birthday, that someone's certain relatives birthday, the date of a big annual end of the year school banquet, and also the date of a nice little picnic/pool party, but more importantly (to some people), today is this site's one year anniversary. That's right, exactly a year ago today, this site was put up for to be viewed by the millions and millions of Netizens around the world for the first time. Although we've only had something like 4,500 visits (I'd say that maybe half of them come from Matt and I checking out the site everyday, updating etc, which hardly adds up to a million), this site has been more successful than we thought. For one thing, we actual get a decent flow of email (didn't expect that), and have a pretty decent flow of material coming into the site (didn't expect that either).

Anyway, on to the update. Awhile

ago I mentioned something about a JFK Assassination research paper I was writing, and an Abraham Lincoln Assassination research paper Matt was writing. We would have put them up about a month or two ago, but decided to stick the two together along with another assassination research paper (about Huey Long) so we could package them together for a special one year anniversary update.

Why did we choose to put these three together for the anniversary. Well, for one thing, they are somewhat long and nice additions to the site. They add some really hardcore conspiracy related stuff that makes this site even better. But more importantly, it has to do with the inspiration for the site. Matt had a conspiracy site awhile back, but stopped updating after awhile. I was a huge Lone Gunmen fan. When the show was cancelled, I decided I'd make a website as a tribute to them. We talked about it one day, and out came the Lone Conspirators (guess where we got the site's name from:) ). I was hoping to give the site a sort of a newspaper look, since the Lone Gunmen had a newspaper of the same name, and even the way this site's title looks was inspired by the Lone Gunmen's newspaper.

Ok, I've rambled enough. The site's here to stay, and it looks like over the summer it might start to update with some more serious stuff. I've even got some 'ufo abduction confessions' that were given to me awhile back by some guy who is the president of some UFO research group (just gotta find the email, I know I've got it). Hopefully, we'll get some more stuff about the MJ12 and Masons. Anyway, enough of that, enjoy the update...
