All listings go by either city of license or by market with what each market can receive.
I list EPR (effective radiated power) for all TV&FM stations
// means this station rebroadcasts,relays or simucasts the station following this symbol
All U.S., Guam, and US Virgin Island licensed stations are English, unless listed otherwise
All Mexico and Puerto Rico licensed stations are Spanish, unless listed otherwise
AM stations with /0W in the night slot means this is a daytime only station
AM stations with a wattage slot between day and night (e.g.:50000W/10000W/1000W;WSFZ Memphis) means this station has a different critical hours (2 hours before sunset&2 hours after sunrise) wattage to protect clear channels.
ND: non-directional fulltime
DA: directional antenna
DA-D: directional antenna day hours (for daytime-only stations)
ND-N: non directional night hours
DA-CH: directional antenna during critical hours
DA-N: non-directional day (and critical hours), directional antenna night
DA-1: same antenna pattern day&night
DA-2: different day&night (or critical hours) pattern
DA-3: different day, night, and critical hours pattern
-DT: a TV station's digital (HDTV) facilities
-U: unlimited(AM power)
CP(construction permit): a granted application from FCC to build or change facilities
APP(application): a petition filed with the FCC to grant for a contruction permit. Not always granted.
All TV and FM stations are non-directional unless listed otherwise.
- means music formats are intermixed (e.g.CHR-AOR).
/ means seperate formats or split-format stations (e.g.news/talk)
