This trip has been a classic in the industry for over 30 years and provides participants with the chance to visit a wide variety of modern clastic environments along the Gulf Coast of Texas which are the common reservoirs we explore for. We will see modern examples of incised valleys, meandering streams, wave-dominated deltas, river-dominated deltas, barrier islands, and transgressive beaches. Subsurface information will be integrated at many of the stops. This course is essential for those wishing to understand these units in the subsurface.
