Initial Query Sceen of Student - Size = 48K This is the initial screen you will receive when you want to query the system about the past students you have had.  That is to ask the system different questions concerning the information that you have placed in the system.  Remember if it was not placed into the system at the beginning, example used the defaults in place of that single piece information you will have the defaults only.  The results of this query are only as good as the data that is in the system.  This original input and/or any updates done to this record at this time.

The results of this query of the system will be displayed to the screen only in the order that you ask for.  In addition you can have the results in ascending or descending order.  The system is set up for nineteen different ways to ask about the different past students that have been placed in the system.  The first thing is to determine what you want to ask about the data within the system.  Then what order do you want the output in.

The nineteen different options are the following:

  1. Internal Personal ID Number
  2. Person Passed or Failed
  3. Type of Course Taken
  4. Card Number Issued
  5. Actual Course Location
  6. Date Course Started
  7. State Prevention Number Issued
  8. Last Name
  9. Date of Birth
  10. Street Address
  11. City
  12. State
  13. ZIP Code
  14. Driver License Number
  15. State Driver License Issued
  16. Score On Written Test
  17. Points Off on Level Two Testing
  18. Date and Time Record Added
  19. Initial Phone Contact Date.
If you want to return to the main menu just depress the EXIT to return to the main screen.  If you tell it to Do It the results will look like something below.

Output from the Query of the System

Results Of Query For Student - Size = 72K

The above is the result of the query using the past student information.  In this case it was sorted upon 'Personal ID Number' and the order was 'Ascending'.  The top line or header will show the item used in the sorting of the data and the order you wanted the information placed in.  Remember there were nineteen different options available to you.  The results of the Query will always look the same, meaning what will be found in the first column will be always the 'Pin' regardless of how the Query was done.  The order which it will be displayed will be based on which one of the nineteen options did you say use.

The different arrows on the right side and the bottom are designed to scroll up and down and right to left. The different columns can by adjusted by you to see the total information in that column.

In this example the column width of the column titled 'CourseLocat' is to small to display all the information.  &You could adjust the column width to display all the information in that column.  In this example we displayed it using the Personal ID Number, that is generated by the system when this record was first placed in the system.

When you are done all that is necessary is to depress the EXIT to return to the main screen.
