The major difference between this and doing a QUERY is that, one less options are available to you, but as you will see this could lead directly to the EDIT screen. Lets do a browse using the PIN as the order we want to have all the records. The results of the browse are shown below.
The above is the result of the browse using the phone contact information. In this example regardless of what you depressed above we will use this example to show the results. The top line or header will state what item was used to sort this information on. In this case the header states 'Phone Contacts Information in Personal Identification Number Order' so you depressed the 'PIN' button. The order is always ascending. The different arrows on the right side and the bottom are designed to scroll up and down and right to left. If for some reason the single column, lets say the column named 'Lastname', is not big enough to display all that is in the field just expand it to the necessary size. You will note that the first record on the screen is highlighted, the upper left hand corner. If you would depress Edit Record I will place that record (phone contact) on an edit screen. When you are done all that is necessary is to depress the EXIT to return to the main screen.
Everything can be edited. Now if you do not want to do anything and just want to return to the main menu just depress the EXIT to return to the main screen. Any changes that you make when you depress the Do It button will be done. So if you make an error you will have to redo the record.
