Evidence of aborigine visitation was discovered in 1982. Footprints, pieces of burnt cane torches, a "slow match" piece of White Oak, and unusual markings on flat limestone walls have been found. These remains have been investigated and examined by Dr. P. Watson with carbon 14 dating placing the Oak at 757 B.C +/- 85 years and the cane fragments at 1182 B.C. +/- 80 years.
