Bones is a brother to Crystal. He finished his show
championship with a BOB at the GSPCRC Specialty Show (pictured) and earned his FC, AFC and
JH, SH & MH all owner handled by Wayne Romanski. Bones ground covering movement as
well as his desire in the field, made him a truly versatile shorthair.

Our first GSP was a solid liver named Coffee. She received her CD along with a Will
Judy Award (all scores above 195 out of a possible 200) trained and handled by her owner,
Ken Clody. She went on to receive her CDX and then was trained for UD. Coffee was very
intelligent and a great natural hunter but lacked what it took for a show
championship. Since dual quality GSPs were our passion, we went in search of a GSP
with Dual quality potential. We purchased Fld Ch. Oxton's Minado V. Brunz, from Jake
& Sally Huizenga of Oxton Kennels (known for their Duals). Mac proved himself in the
show ring as well by becoming the 85th Dual German Shorthaired Pointer (Dual
Champion Oxton's Minado Von Brunz). Mac produced numerous field, show and dual champions
and was our foundation sire. He was inducted into the GSPCA (German Shorthaired Pointer
Club of America) Hall of Fame in 1981. He is #2 GSPCA All-Time Top
Sire of Dual Champions (tied) and #7 for All-Time Top Sire of Show

One of our top producing foundation dams, Inga (Oxton Minado's Inga Von Greif), was
originally sold to the Huizengas. Jake had retired and his wife, Sally, wanted to give him
a pup to field train and keep him busy. When Jake passed away, Inga was returned to us a
fully trained gun dog. Inga turned out to be an outstanding producer. She is the
#1 GSPCA Top Producing Dam of Show Champions in the history
of the breed.
