Toby was shown by his breeder, Leanne Farrell, for his owner Barbara
Caron, to most of his championship points. He was then taken over by Valerie Nunes-Ewing
who started his specials career. He finished his show championship with a Best of Breed
from the classes and a group fourth, under breeder judge Mr. Walter Shellenbarger
(Gretchenhof Kennels). He went to the 1994 GSPCA National Specialty
Show just a youngster and won Best in Futurity and Best
of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes. He was bumped up to the Best of Breed competition
where he made it to the final cut. To-date Toby has earned 11 All Breed Best in
Shows, 21 Best in Specialty Shows. He has been honored with #1
Top Show GSP All Systems for 1995, 1996 & 1997. At the 1997 GSPCA National Specialty
Show, Toby took an Award of Merit, GSPCA Show Dog Of The Year, and GSPCA Stud Dog of the
Year (Show Type). At the 1998 GSPCA National Specialty Show he took GSPCA National
Specialty Best in Show and GSPCA Stud Dog Of The Year. .
Toby's obtained his champion title within 3 weeks of starting his
show career, finishing with a Group 4.
Toby's specials career took him to the #1 GSP in 1995, 1996 &
1997. Toby not only proved to be a Top Show Dog but also a Top Producer receiving 1997 and
1998 GSPCA Top Producing Show Sire of the Year, 1998 & 1999, Hunt Test Sire of the
Year 1998. Toby's get are garnering Best in Shows, Groups and National wins.
